According to InstagramAds are served when a user clicks on an IGTV video to view it using the preview button in their feed. They are vertical videos optimized for mobile devices and last up to 15 seconds.
Instagram confirmed that the feature will be available to more developers in the UK and Australia in the coming weeks. It is expected to expand into new countries by the end of 2021.
In a statement, Instagram said, “It’s more important than ever that developers can use Instagram to grow their personal brands and make a living.”
IGTV ads are the newest feature that developers can use to monetize their content on the platform.
