The right way to Add Alt Textual content to a Photograph

Twitter recently launched Fleets, its disappearing tweets that are similar to Stories posts on Facebook and Instagram. With the fleet function, you can share text, photos, videos and more with your followers. These posts can only be viewed for 24 hours.

When you share a photo with a fleet, you have the option to add alt text to the photo before you share it. Our guide will show you how to do it.

Note: These screenshots were taken in the Twitter application on iOS.

Step 1: If you’ve taken or imported a photo into Fleets, tap the Alt button in the lower right corner of the screen.

Step 2: Enter the alternative text you want for the photo.

Step 3: Tap Done in the top right corner of the screen.
